Today's update... Opened the kiln and washed of the glass only to find the silver stain still needs another coat. You can see how much darker the border on the right is than the one on the left.So, today I will give another coat. Fire it to 950 degrees. Open the kiln in the morning. And from a positive thinkers perspective, when I wash it off it will look like the one on the right.

Pat, do you think it is "more" silver stain, or a different, stronger silver stain? I recently purcahsed some from a fellow in New England, name escapes me, but he makes his own, and has for some time, have two different varieties from him, if you would like to test it for you application.
